As far back as I can remember I used to dread the seasons changing for a reason, how in the world do I make all new outfits without going out and buying new clothes?! It wasn't until I learned how to transition my clothes; since I did not have the luxury of buying completely new outfits every 3 to 4 months. I have said it numerous times before, you have to experiment and wear what is best for you. It's apparent when you live in the colder climates, you tend to layer up with bulky scarves, hats and coats but you don't have to step out looking like a fluffy snowman. Like myself, I tend to spend a little more time deciding on my outfits in the fall and winter months. So how can we wear our summer dresses in the fall season?
Wearing a Dress in Multiple Seasons
Pair of boots and tights
You do not have to wear pants all season. Most girls know that you can throw on a pair of tights or leggings underneath a dress will warm you up just a tad. There are numerous patterns and designs with tights now, that you can make them stand out a little more. Choose your boots accordingly. Short or tall boots are dependent on your style and occasion.

A Big Scarf
I love scarfs! In all layers and materials. For the colder months, I enjoy pairing a thick scarf with just about every casual outfit I put on. The beauty of a scarf. you can take it off anywhere and it's not tied to your outfit. If you have a long sleeved short summer dress, I like to throw the scarf over it and pair it with a short moto jacket or cardigan.

There are several ways of wearing this. If you have a fuller button of the dress, opt out for a short cropped sweater on top. If you want just a little bit of your dress showing, throw on a slightly bigger sweater over it. This depends on your style. Of course, you can always throw on a cardigan or over sized blazer.

This is the most common sense of all. Depending on the temperature and occasion, this ranges from short leather moto jackets to long pea coats. This is the one item that will be taken off anyways.
