For those of us that live and breathe everything fashion, attending NYFW and looking our best is key. Finding the right outfits can be a daunting task, especially dressing for cold weather. But it got done. For me it wasn't the outfits, it was more like my head and face.
For those that know me personally, know that I am not a huge makeup person. I actually dread wearing it on a daily basis and usually don't. No one taught me how to put on makeup growing up and it just never really interested me much afterwards. BUT I will tell you that if I knew how to apply it, then it may be a different story.
My primary focus are my lips. I am a huge lipstick person and will indulge and spend on lip colors. Everything else from lip up, throw on some mascara, eyeliner and nude eye color and bam. FINISH. I am starting to take an interest in learning more about makeup and the different products and techniques. It's a slow learning process. I am not lucky enough (yet) to have a personal makeup artist by my side 24/7. These were my essentials during NYFW, This was also the first time that I tried any Younique Products. I used the Moonstruck Precision Pencil Lip Liner in Posh. I don't usually use lip liners but I was surprised to find that it applied really nice and didn't "seep" outside of my lips like others I have previously tried.

My last day out in NYC at MADE Fashion, I was able to meet Carolina Dali. This Creative Director and Makeup Artist is insanely talented and was super nice. I was able to get my makeup done by her and assistants (which were also amaze) in the Maybelline Lounge.
Hair. I can do hair. Well to a point. Lol. My dear friend and hair stylist, Shanel accompanied me out to NYC and kept my hair looking pretty at all times. Literally, when we were trekking through crazy ass winds and cold.
With love & stay pretty,
