I was introduced to Laudem Deo back in April at the Michigan Fashion Summit. What automatically stood out to me was the fun & easy looks of the collection. I had a chance to speak with Inge VonAulock, Laudem Deo’s director of sales and marketing and would say she was probably one of the sweetest I have met! I wanted to know more about the brand and their story.

How do you see Laudem Deo transitioning into North American cultures?
LAUDEM DEO is a South African brand, but we celebrate all women so we believe that the styles will easily integrate into the North American market. We use natural fabrics and ethically produce our garments, both of which are very much on-par with some of the North American fashion brands that we admire. Those qualities actually aren't as common in South Africa!
What's the 5 year goal of the brand?
Our five year goal is to be producing beautiful clothing so that any women around the world can own and wear a LAUDEM DEO garment. Our long-term dream is that LAUDEM DEO will be able to fund charities that are focused on building up South Africa and creating a hopeful future for all of our people, especially those that may not have as much.
