Handbag trends for spring

It wasn't until recently that I started to love handbags as much as I loved shoes [which still holds a very special part in my heart]. I am talking cool, new novelty bags, fun shapes and sizes, and colors this spring season. Sure we would all love a Chanel or Celine bag, I mean who wouldn't? Have a little fun this upcoming spring and even summer season with these hot trends. Let's keep it in the reasonable realm, all under $100!

Mini Bags

Trying to fit a charger, makeup bag, planner in your purse? Direct your attention away from this section. But want to put some extra into your look? Keep reading. Not really useful but they are super cute! This is my favorite handbag trend at the moment. I mean what else do you really need for a night out.

Circular Bags

Circle is a shape. And a trending handbag shape. I adore these, need I say more?

Novelty bags

You can catch me with a bag that is cat shaped. If you find one, let me know. Yessss, this is where fun steps in. Have fun and express your personality or just add some excitement to your look with novelty bags. These are a few of my personal favorites.

Remember when I said that mini handbags are currently my fav? Snagged this one at Target for $20 ... yea $20. Loveeee the simplicity of the bag and that green that adds a little pop to my outfits. Find it here.

Break

Hello! It's been awhile folks. I wanted to give you a head's up and say that this post is different from the ones I've done before. This isn't fashion related and there are no images to view here, nothing in the usual Do'Lache Space realm. I wanted to take the time (if you'd like to spend a bit of time reading) let you into my thoughts and let you know why I've stepped back a bit in the last few months. I feel like others can agree to this as well or hope you can get some useful insight after reading this.

I've tried to take a step back from social, blogging and everything in relation in general before but it wasn't until these last 2 months that I truly did. I needed a reality check, needed to figure out WHY I started this blog in the first place.
  • Why did I become a blogger in the first place?
  • Why did I want to achieve the influencer status?
  • What can I give to my followers?
  • What is my voice in this?
I started Do'Lache Space about 2 years go and have been active until the last 6 months or so. I found myself feeling like I lost my brand and my identity in a field of a lot of other emerging bloggers and influencers. I found myself comparing myself to others and wanting to be something that was not me. Why? Because the numbers game, the following, the envious feeling of seeing other people's post and lowering my self confidence. I lost who I was as a brand and voice in this blogosphere. I was not me.
We are all swept into this world of Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat posts that makes other people's lives look fabulous - but do we REALLY know what is behind those images? Reality vs. Social - it's a thing and I was glad to see a lot of the influencers I've looked up to post about this as well.
Taking a step forward, why am I back? I feel as I am finally getting back to the beginning again, finding me per se and why I want to continue as well as have a fresh start.
If you took the time to read this to the end, THANK YOU.
If you've followed me along this entire journey so far, I appreciate every one of you. If you are new, thank you as well for taking your time to read this and hope to have to follow along.
If I can leave a little insight for those who want to or are new to this blogging thing - do not lose yourself, stick to you and your beliefs. Be your bad ass self.
I'd love to hear from you and your thoughts, drop it below or email me.

With love & much needed break,
S.B.
